Webster University's home in Uzbekistan, established by Presidential Decree in 2019.
Who we are
The Center for the Implementation of Educational Programs of Webster University in Tashkent (CIEP) is the institution through which Webster University delivers its degree programs in Uzbekistan. It was established by Decree No. PQ-4245 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 20 March 2019.
The Center was founded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan (then the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education) together with Webster University, and the two founders oversee it jointly.
Classes began in the 2019/2020 academic year. Every course is taught in English, and graduates receive a Webster University diploma, recognised in the Republic of Uzbekistan as a document of higher education.

University
Webster University’s bachelor’s and master’s degrees, taught in English on the Center’s campus at 13 Navoi Avenue. Graduates receive a Webster University diploma.
School
An English-medium school with a dual pathway: an American diploma, delivered with Ivy Global School, and the Uzbek state attestat.
Academy
Professional courses in hotel management in Tashkent: front office, food and beverage, housekeeping and the Opera PMS system.

I feel an overwhelming sense of pride as a part of the Webster University community. Since the inception of this institution I’ve been involved in its journey through all the highs and the lows of establishing the university and the renovation and construction of our campus.

Founder and academic partner: an American university founded in 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri, whose diploma every graduate receives.
Decree PQ-4245
In recent years, a wide range of measures have been implemented in our country aimed at the development of higher education, the introduction of advanced pedagogical technologies, improving the quality of personnel training, and creating effective mechanisms for the integration of education, science and industry. Modern trends in educational services indicate the need to implement the best practices of leading foreign educational institutions, strengthen partnerships with them, and attract foreign investment into the education sector.
From the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4245 of 20 March 2019, which established the Center.
